To ensure that the unique needs of the military-connected students are met, the North Carolina State Board of Education and the North Carolina Department of Instruction requires that we identify and collect information on these students (N.C. General Statue 115C-112(18)). Your child's military-connected information will be entered into PowerSchool (represented with icon showing military-connected) and will be accessible to student support staff. This information will not be placed in your child's cumulative folder. The goal is to help accommodate military-connected students by providing them with support and consistency when parents are deployed, when they are transitioning between schools, and at other pivotal times during their academic career. To ensure compliance, please complete following information. A form must be completed for each child enrolled and living in the household.
"Immediate family" is defined as a parent, step-parent, sibling, guardian, or any other person that would normally live in the same household as the child.
Students must be signed out prior to 3:00 p.m. No students will be released after 3:00 p.m. All transportation arrangements should be made before 1:00 p.m. Do not leave transportation information on the school's voice mail system.
