Alpha Academy is excited to announce our 2025 Summer Programs, running from June 2–27, 2025, designed to help students stay on track and thrive academically. Held from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, the summer offerings include a Reading Camp for grades 1–3 and a comprehensive academic program for grades 3–8 that focuses on both reading and math proficiency. To support families further, Summer After Care is available from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, with parent pick-up only and a prepaid weekly fee of $100. Our goal is to minimize the “summer slide” and provide meaningful growth opportunities in a supportive learning environment. Seats are limited, so early registration is encouraged! Transportation information will be provided upon confirmation.

The May Sea Cadet Newsletter celebrates a vibrant month filled with unity, service, and leadership. Highlights include a successful Spring Cleaning Yard Sale featuring vendors, food trucks, games, and music—bringing joy and raising school spirit. A special shoutout goes to Leading Petty Officer Genesis Santiago as she prepares for graduation. Sea Cadets are also gearing up to present the color guard at Alpha Academy’s ceremonies. Leadership training is underway, equipping cadets with discipline, accountability, and teamwork skills. The newsletter honors Memorial Day and Mother’s Day, reminding us to reflect on sacrifice and celebrate maternal love. The Fayetteville Division continues to thrive with dedication and enthusiasm, shaping future leaders with every step.

The March edition of the Sea Cadet Newsletter from the Fayetteville Division invites you on a journey through rich naval history and the evolving spirit of service. Highlighting milestone achievements—from the pioneering enlistment of Loretta Perfectus Walsh, which opened the door for women in the military, to the transformative contributions of the Red Cross—this newsletter celebrates a legacy of courage and innovation. Alongside historical insights, it shines a light on current triumphs, including cadet graduations and new training initiatives like Color Guard, while also challenging each reader to set personal goals that push them beyond their comfort zone. ​

March is National Reading Month, a time to celebrate the joys of reading and the incredible benefits it brings to students. At Alpha Academy, we are excited to highlight the importance of reading in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. Reading opens doors to new worlds, sparks creativity, and strengthens vocabulary, critical thinking, and comprehension skills. This month, we are encouraging all our students, teachers, and staff to embrace the power of books and make reading an integral part of their daily lives.

National Reading Month is a perfect opportunity to dive into various genres and explore diverse authors, stories, and topics. Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or history, books offer something for everyone. We are proud of our students who have consistently shown a passion for reading, and we aim to keep inspiring them to read more, not just for academic growth but also for personal enjoyment and development.
