Program Overview

The Alpha Academy Sea Cadet Program is part of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC), a congressionally chartered, U.S. Navy-sponsored organization that provides youth with valuable training and educational experiences. This program is designed to involve young individuals in sea-going military services, U.S. naval operations, and training while also emphasizing community service, citizenship, and leadership development.

The program offers two divisions:

  • Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC): Designed for cadets ages 10–13 (5th through 8th grade).
  • Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC): Designed for cadets ages 13–18 (beginning March 1st of the year they complete 8th grade).
