We’re excited to kick off another year of excellence at Alpha Academy! Below is a snapshot of key dates to help families stay informed and prepared throughout the school year.

  • First Day of School: Monday, August 19, 2024

  • Teacher Workdays & Staff Development: August 1–16

  • End of Reporting Periods: October 18, December 20, March 11, and May 23

  • Report Cards Issued: October 24, December 20, and March 19

  • Early Release Days: December 20 and May 23

  • Last Day for Students: Friday, May 23, 2025

  • Parent-Teacher Conference Weeks: September 23, December 2, and February 10

Holiday Breaks & Closures:

  • Labor Day: September 2

  • Veterans Day: November 11

  • Thanksgiving Break: November 28–29 (Students also out Nov. 27)

  • Winter Break: December 23 – January 2 (Students return Jan. 6)

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: January 20

  • Presidents Day: February 17 (Student Holiday/Staff PD)

  • Spring Break: April 14–21

Additional Notes:

  • October 21, January 3, and March 14 are student holidays with teacher workdays.

  • Teachers will have post-year workdays from May 27–30.

  • A scheduled make-up day will be announced if needed during the year.
