At Alpha Academy, we are committed to building strong foundations in literacy for every student. The North Carolina Read to Achieve program is a vital part of our approach to ensuring all students are reading at or above grade level by the end of third grade. This statewide initiative provides a framework of assessments, interventions, and instructional strategies to help students achieve reading proficiency through targeted support and evidence-based practices.

The Read to Achieve initiative includes benchmark testing, summer reading camps, and personalized reading plans for students who need additional help. At Alpha Academy, we align our literacy instruction with these state guidelines while also providing a nurturing, challenging, and family-centered environment. We believe that strong partnerships with parents create the best path to student success. By working together, celebrating progress, and encouraging reading at home, we can help every child grow in confidence and ability.
