Good evening Alpha Academy parents, students and staff. We’ve made it through the first week of our school reopen. Thank you, parents, students and staff, for your teamwork and cooperation by making this week a success, and thank you for your patience as we move forward. We are continuously finding ways to help ensure the health and safety of our students and our staff. Effective Monday, March 29th, new student entry methods will be put in place. After student temperatures are taken and the student exits the vehicle, upon entry to the school, the student will be given a colored wrist band verifying the student’s temperature has been checked and is free to go to class. In order for the staff to prepare the students on campus for this process, virtual student attendance will be moved from 7:45 am to 8:00 am. This will give teachers the opportunity to get all face-to-face learners ready for class.
Beginning April 12th, which is after spring break, the class schedule will change to Monday – Friday, 7:45 am – 3:00 pm. If your child is a virtual student, and you are interested in your child attending face-to-face instruction after spring break, you must respond to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, March 30th. After March 30th, your child will remain in the instruction of your choice to end of the school year. It is important that you remember all students will be required to come to the school for all scheduled, State testing.
Also, if you plan for your child to attend Alpha Academy for the 2021-22 school year, you must complete the Letter of Intent located on the school’s website under Documents & Forms, by Thursday, April 1st. By completing this information, you are confirming a seat for your child for the 2021-22 school year. If you do not confirm your child’s enrollment for the upcoming school year, a seat may not be available and we will assume your child will not be returning to Alpha Academy.
