At Alpha Academy, we share a responsibility to ensure our students are on track for college and career readiness. We also strive to ensure that our students fulfill all requirements for graduation. In an effort to enhance student readiness, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Alpha Academy will host “High School Pre-Orientation” in the High School Auditorium for 8th grade students and parents.
During the session, we will explain the High School Standard Course of Study, the Occupational Course of Study, the high school testing process, and NC graduation requirements. We will also discuss our partnership with the NC School of Science and Mathematics, and the High School Connections Early College Program. Parents and students will have an opportunity to tour the high school, meet members of the high school teaching team, and have their questions answered.
Sign-in will start at 5:30. The session will begin at 6:00, and conclude no later than 7:30.
