Alpha Academy Sea Cadets Reach Major Milestone in January
January marked an important moment for the Alpha Academy Sea Cadet Program as recruits officially completed Recruit Training and earned their covers, symbolizing their transition into full-fledged Sea Cadets. This milestone reflects weeks of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, and highlights the cadets’ commitment to personal growth and leadership.
Beyond training, cadets demonstrated the core values of service and respect by volunteering with Wreaths Across America on January 10th. Through this meaningful experience, they honored fallen veterans and gave back to the community, reinforcing the importance of service above self.
The program also paused to reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., recognizing his enduring message of equality, justice, and nonviolent leadership—values that align closely with the Sea Cadet mission and Alpha Academy’s educational philosophy.
Outstanding performance during Recruit Training was recognized across multiple squads, with Delta Squad earning special distinction as the program’s Honor Squad. Cadets from Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta Squads were applauded for their dedication, teamwork, and excellence throughout the training process.
As the Sea Cadets move into the new year, they do so with confidence, discipline, and a strong foundation for future success. Alpha Academy is proud of their achievements and looks forward to watching these young leaders continue to grow, lead, and serve.
